Product Description
Michael Schumacher is one of the greatest drivers of all time, and this is a real part of history from the height of his career.
By this time in history, Michael Schumacher was a legend that walked among mortals.
Up until Schumacher, the only driver to have won more than four World Championship titles was Fangio. It was speculated that no one would be able to match that again. Schumacher quelled that idea.
By this point, Michael Schumacher had won six World Championship titles - but it was almost inevitable that he would win the 2004 title too.
The Canadian GP was round 8 of the 2004 season & of the 7 races that had taken place 'Schumi' had won 6. The only race he didn't win, he DNF'd whilst leading the pack... This was a supremely dominant performance that was on display by Michael Schumacher.
The Canadian Grand Prix saw Michael qualify further back, in sixth, than expected. With typical Michael prowess, the German World Champion cut his way forward to third position after the first round of pitstops.
He then went longer on the middle stint, to be able to fully take advantage of his Ferrari's raw pace.
This meant that after the final round of stops Schumacher was leading the race & he cruised his way to the Chequered Flag to take his 7th win of the season.
These Race Gloves are the ones that the German wore during this Grand Prix - making them a rare artifact of F1 from Michael Schumacher's career. Both OMP gloves have been signed by Schumacher & subsequently framed to make them a perfect display piece for any collector or enthusiast.
The 2004 season saw Michael break multiple F1 records - including two of his own records from 2002. Most significantly was Most Wins (13) and Most Points (148).
A sensational season, even by Schumacher's standards, deserves to be remembered and this is the perfect way to do just that.
